Alexey is a Ph.D in Biology, Researcher, Pharmaceutical Garden, Botanical Garden of Moscow State University
In the Botanical Garden, Alexey supervises the Subtropical Greenhouse and three plots of open ground (the Collection of the Shadow Garden, the Garden of Medicinal Herbs and the spore plants plot).
"Topiary is my hobby on the one hand, but on the other hand it is an integral part of my work, because as a curator, I have to present the plants in the plots in the most interesting and attractive form and, therefore, the aesthetic component is always very important."
Since my heart will forever remain captured by French-style gardens, I adore geometric topiary forms.Speakers
